Kawasaki Frontale and Hokkaido Consadole have both struggled lately, but they have an opportunity to get back on their feet when the two sides square off on Saturday at 7 pm JST in a match that will be streamed live on the J.League International YouTube channel.
Frontale have lost three in a row, putting a halt to positive momentum it looked like they had been making in July. Their defense has been vulnerable, conceding eight goals in their three straight losses and getting back on track will be decided by whether they can shore things up at the back.
Defensive fragility is nothing new at Consa, where their back line has been vulnerable all season. It’s a big reason they have not won since June 3, but, like Frontale, they have the capability to put forward a dangerous attack so this match should be full of exciting, attack football.
The J.League announced that up to four matches will be streamed live each week for the 2023 season, bringing one of Asia’s top league’s to fans around the world. The streams will be free to view on the J.League International YouTube channel in any country that does not have an existing rights agreement.
