Reysol look to keep climbing, while Frontale need a 180 heading into clash in Kawasaki

Kashiwa Reysol are up off the mat! Their first match under new boss Masami Ihara was mighty impressive, as they drew table topping Vissel Kobe, and now they’re aiming for more as they take on Kawasaki Frontale on Sunday at 5 pm JST in a match that will be streamed live on the J.League International YouTube channel.

Reysol were struggling for much of the season and they parted ways with legendary manager Nelsinho, but they responded well in their first match under Ihara against Vissel. Now they’re hoping to build off of it and start to make their way into the midtable, led by star youngster Mao Hosoya.

Frontale have had a rollercoaster 2013, struggling at the start before running off three straight wins that looked to have them back on the right track to challenge at the top of the table like expected. Unfortunately, they enter this match coming off of back-to-back losses and now they need to turn things back around once again. A win over Reysol before heading to Kobe next week would be massive.

The J.League announced that up to four matches will be streamed live each week for the 2023 season, bringing one of Asia’s top league’s to fans around the world. The streams will be free to view on the J.League International YouTube channel in any country that does not have an existing rights agreement.
