J.League releases suspended list for next round

The J.League have confirmed Ryota Moriwaki will miss out on Wednesday’s MEIJI YASUDA J1 League fixtures, the defender finding himself on its list of suspended players.

The 29-year-old must serve his punishment during Urawa Reds’ matchday 5 clash with Ventforet Kofu, following his sending-off in his team’s 2-1 loss to Nagoya Grampus at the weekend.

FC Tokyo must also attempt to get back to winning ways against Vegalta Sendai without the services of Hideto Takahashi, while Vissel Kobe will miss veteran Takahito Soma.

Bans also extended to the MEIJI YASUDA J2 League ahead of Saturday’s matchday 27 fixtures, with Consadole Sapporo’s Hiroki Miyazawa and Tochigi SC’s Kazunori Kan ruled out.

Roasso Kumamoto and Oita Trinita must also do without Kohei Kuroki and Akihiro Hyodo respectively.
