J.LEAGUE continues Vietnamese growth as four players from Saigon FC join clubs in Japan

Four players are joining the MEIJI YASUDA J.LEAGUE on loan from Saigon FC as the league continues its role in aiding the development of Vietnamese football.

Phạm Văn Luân and Vũ Hồng Quân have signed for FC Ryukyu, and Bùi Ngọc Long and Nguyễn Văn Sơn have joined FC Azul Claro Numazu.

This is the latest development in the long-term strategic cooperation program of Saigon FC and the most recent instance of the J.LEAGUE’s efforts to help grow the sport in the region.

Pham and Vũ are both 22-year-old midfielders. They will play for Ryukyu in J2 this season as the club tries to improve upon last season’s ninth-place finish and challenge for a promotion place.

Bùi is a 20-year-old left-sided midfielder and Nguyễn is a 20-year-old striker. The duo join an Azul side hoping to make headway in J3 in 2022.
