Japan U-22 members announced for West Asia camp

Takuma Asano, Wataru Endo and Naomichi Ueda were included when the Japan Football Association announced its squad for the Japan Under-22’s upcoming training camp.

Over the camp’s course, Makoto Teguramori’s youngsters will play Yemen on December 10 at the Grand Hamad Stadium in Qatar, before facing Uzbekistan three days later at Thiyab Amana Stadium in UAE. 

The ties are part of their preparations for the upcoming AFC Under-23 Championship in January, which will serve as the region’s qualifying tournament for the 2016 Rio Olympics.
