Urawa Reds on Monday announced the full transfer of defender Branko Ilic to Slovenia’s Olimpija Ljubljana.
The 34-year-old, who joined the Reds last season, made just one appearance for the club in the AFC Champions League.
He returns to Olimpija, who he turned out for as a youth player.
“Though I am no longer a member of Urawa Reds, my love for this team will not disappear,” Ilic said.
“I hope Urawa will achieve great results this season while I perform well at my new club.”
