Grampus’s Tomoya Koyamatsu joins Japan U-22s

The Japan Football Association on Saturday revealed Nagoya Grampus striker Tomoya Koyamatsu will team up with the Japan Under-22 squad.

Koyamatsu replaces Kashima Antlers counterpart Yuta Toyokawa who was forced to withdraw due to an injury ahead of the upcoming friendly against Costa Rica on July 1.

The Kyoto native turned 20 in April and has netted one goal in 14 appearances for Grampus this season.
