Grampus youngster Kitano joins Polish club

Nagoya Grampus Under-18 striker Seiya Kitano has thanked the club after signing with Polish club Pogon Szczecin.

The 18-year-old will join fellow countrymen Takuya Murayama and Takafumi Akahoshi - the latter a former J.League player - at the first-division side.

“I want to thank my staff, coaches, teammates, and supporters at the academy for the last three years,” Kitano said. “You are the reason I am who I am today.

“I hope I can repay all of you by playing well at Pogon Szczecin and aiming for an even bigger stage.”
