Riki Matsuda revealed he is honoured to have played for Nagoya Grampus after they confirmed his loan to JEF United Chiba on Tuesday.
The 24-year-old had scored one goal in 11 MEIJI YASUDA J1 League appearances for Grampus this season, with another strike to his name in four Yamazaki Nabisco Cup games.
“It has been an honour to play at Nagoya Grampus for the last year and a half,” Matsuda commented. “I was able to stay motivated because of the tremendous support from our fans.
“From today I’ll be playing at JEF United Chiba, but I’ll always carry my memories here in Nagoya and play as hard as I can.”
The former Oita Trinitra former had joined Grampus in 2014.
