Nagoya Grampus manager Bosko Gjurovski’s contract will not be renewed for 2017, the club announced on Sunday.
The former assistant coach arrived in September in an attempt to save the club from relegation to the J2 League following former manager Takafumi Ogura’s dismissal.
However, the Macedonian was unable to prevent them dropping down to the second tier last weekend and it has now been confirmed the club will not retain him.
“I’m very sad to be leaving Nagoya Grampus,” Gjrovski commented. “If I had a little more time, we might have earned a different result.
“But even with the limited time we had, I did the best I could with the help of the players, staff, and our supporters. I have nothing but gratitude for all of you.”
