Nagoya Grampus on Sunday announced an injury to midfielder Ryuji Izumi which could keep him out of the next few rounds of play.
The 22-year-old will require three weeks to recover from damage to his right hamstring, suffered in his club’s 1-0 loss to Vissel Kobe on May 8.
Izumi has one goal in five appearances for Grampus in his first season as a professional, after completing his transfer from Meiji University.
