The participants in the fourth round of the Emperor’s Cup have been finalised after the match between Vanraure Hachinohe and Nagoya Grampus.
The clash was suspended in the 65th minute in July due to heavy rain and was completed on Wednesday night at Paloma MIzuho Stadium.
The JFL side proved troublesome after play resumed, with Seiya Murakami knotting the score up at 1-1 when he bundled the ball in from close range in the 70th minute.
But Grampus would not fall victim to an upset, with Washington heading in the game-winner in the 85th minute to give the hosts a 2-1 win.
The draw for the fourth round and beyond will be conducted on Monday, August 7.
