J.LEAGUE has decided on the general outline of the 2022 J.LEAGUE Awards. From this season, J.LEAGUE is adding new individual awards for J2 LEAGUE and J3 LEAGUE players, namely Player of the Year, Best Eleven Players, and Goal of the Year. J.LEAGUE will also hold J.LEAGUE Awards ceremonies for the award winners of each league.
The 2022 J.LEAGUE Awards for J1 winners will be held on Monday, 7 November with members of the general public able to apply to attend in person. The event will also be streamed live on DAZN. The 2022 J2 LEAGUE Awards and 2022 J3 LEAGUE Awards will be streamed online on Monday, 14 November and Monday, 21 November, respectively.

* If multiple clubs are eligible, the prize money will be awarded to the top 3 clubs by fewest disciplinary points for the year (including the club awarded the Fair Play Prize / Prince Takamado Cup). However, if 4 or more teams are ranked as the top 3 clubs by fewest disciplinary points, ￥5,000,000 will be awarded to each club, in descending order from the top club. For teams ranked in a position where there are a total of number of 4 or more clubs above them, the prize money will be divided up evenly among them.
* The prize money for Fair Play Prize (J2) and Fair Play Prize (J3) will only be awarded to the club in each league with the fewest disciplinary points. Prize money has been awarded for Fair Play Prize (J2) since 2014. If multiple teams are tied for the fewest disciplinary points, the prize money will be divided up evenly among them.
