Gamba Osaka are the hottest team in the Meiji Yasuda J1 League and they aim to keep that phenomenal run of form going when they play Kawasaki Frontale on Sunday at 7 pm JST in a match that will be streamed live on the J.League International YouTube channel.
The Nerazzurri are unbeaten in seven in a row, six of them by win, in a run of form that has taken them from the bottom of the league to comfortably mid-table. It’s been a terrific stretch for the club, but the long break may have dealt a hit to their momentum. Will they be able to keep it going when they head to Kawasaki?
Frontale will be doing everything in their power to end whatever positive push Gamba have left, having found some good play of their own recently. They’ve taken points from six of their last seven and are into the top half of the table. A late run at an AFC Champions League place is still in the cards and three points from Gamba would be a big help towards that.
The J.League announced that up to four matches will be streamed live each week for the 2023 season, bringing one of Asia’s top league’s to fans around the world. The streams will be free to view on the J.League International YouTube channel in any country that does not have an existing rights agreement.
