Gamba Osaka have been absolutely spectacular of late, going six in a row without a loss with five wins, and they will take their terrific form into Sunday’s 7 pm JST clash with Kashiwa Reysol that will be streamed live on the J.League International YouTube channel.
It wasn’t too long ago that Gamba were losers of five in a row and sitting at the bottom of the league, but 16 points from their last six matches has lifted them to 13th place and made them a team no one wants to come up against.
Reysol are the unlucky team set to face red hot Gamba this week and they are in desperate need of a result. Mao Hosoya lifted them to a draw last week, which gave them the one-point margin that separates them from the bottom of the table, but they have not won in their last six matches and need to pick up results in their bid to avoid the drop.
The J.League announced that up to four matches will be streamed live each week for the 2023 season, bringing one of Asia’s top league’s to fans around the world. The streams will be free to view on the J.League International YouTube channel in any country that does not have an existing rights agreement.
