Gamba Osaka midfielder Yasuyuki Konno became the 42nd player to record 350 MEIJI YASUDA J1 League appearances on Saturday.
The 32-year-old, who featured in his team’s 2-1 win at Kashima Antlers at the weekend, has also played for Consadole Sapporo and FC Tokyo.
Konno has recorded a total of 39 goals in the Japanese top flight, being vital as he clinched his first-ever league title last term, and has earned a total of 85 caps for Japan.
He has virtually been an ever-present in Gamba’s line-up this campaign, making 31 appearances in all competitions as Kenta Hasegawa’s men aim to defend their domestic Treble.
