Current Emperor’s Cup holders Gamba Osaka will make their entrance in the fourth round of this season’s tournament, traveling to face Kawasaki Frontale.
Kenta Hasegawa’s men learnt of their opponents when the draw for the remainder of the 95th Emperor’s Cup was held on Thursday at JFA House in downtown Tokyo.
The pool of participants included the 12 teams who advanced through the third round of play, as well as the four clubs who achieved direct progress to the fourth round.
