Nagoya Grampus on Tuesday announced the signing of Brazilian midfielder Gabriel Xavier on a half-year loan from Vitoria.
The 24-year-old, who has also placed for Cruzeiro and Portuguesa, is touted for his speed, technique and accurate deliveries.
“It’s an incredible honour to join Nagoya Grampus,” Xavier said. “I will do my best to help the team return to the J1 League.”
Yahiro Kazama’s men currently sit fifth in the MEIJI YASUDA J2 League, 10 points off leaders Shonan Bellmare.
