The J.League on Tuesday announced details for the FUJI XEROX SUPER CUP 2017, the annual kickoff to the Japanese pro football season.

The match between 2016 J.League Champions Kashima Antlers and the winners of the Emperor’s Cup will take place on February 18, 2017 at Nissan Stadium in Yokohama.

Should Antlers win the Emperor’s Cup, they will face J.League Championship runners-up Urawa Reds.

Roughly three hours before the 13:35 kickoff, a J.League U-18 Selection will take on Japan’s top high school players in the NEXT GENERATION MATCH.

General ticket sales will begin on Sunday, January 15.
