Kawasaki Frontale striker Yu Kobayashi will miss four weeks after hurting his left hamstring, the club announced on Tuesday.
The 29-year-old suffered the injury in his team’s October 29 win at Kashima Antlers in the penultimate round of the MEIJI YASUDA J1 League Second Stage.
With 15 goals this season, Kobayashi is tied with Yoshito Okubo as the team’s leading scorer.
