Kawasaki Frontale announced the half-season loan of striker An Byong-Jun to MEIJI YASUDA J2 League side JEF United Chiba on Thursday.
The 25-year-old North Korea international made two appearances for Frontale this season and had yet to establish himself in coach Yahiro Kazama’s plans after joining in 2013.
“I had a lot of concerns, but in the end I decided that this would be best for both myself and Frontale,” An commented through the club.
“I’m thankful to the supporters who backed me through a difficult time. Now I want to contribute all of my efforts toward helping JEF achieve promotion this season.”
Frontale enjoyed a winning start to the second stage of the league when they defeated FC Tokyo 2-0 in the Tamagawa Clasico on Saturday.
