Frontale try to get on track in Sapporo

Kawasaki Frontale’s season has not gone according to plan, but they have a chance to get things back on track when they play away to Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo on Saturday at 7 pm JST in a match that will be streamed live on the J.League International YouTube channel.

Frontale have just one win from five matches and sit 14th in the table. It’s an unfamiliar spot for the club, which has won four of the last six MeijI Yasuda J1 League titles, but it is still early enough in the season to turn things around and compete at the top.

It will not be easy for Frontale in Sapporo, though. Consa are above them in the table and have lost just one time in 2023, showing a knack for making things difficult on opponents and grinding out points.

The J.League announced that up to four matches will be streamed live each week for the 2023 season, bringing one of Asia’s top league’s to fans around the world. The streams will be free to view on the J.League International YouTube channel in any country that does not have an existing rights agreement.
