Former Reysol star Kudo scores first MLS goal

Former Kashiwa Reysol striker Masato Kudo has bagged his first goal for Major League Soccer’s Vancouver Whitecaps since joining the club.

The 26-year-old scored the equaliser and assisted Cristian Bolanos’ game-winner in the Whitecaps’ 2-1 win over Cascadia Cup rivals Portland Timbers.

Kudo is Reysol’s all-time top goalscorer, spending six seasons in Kashiwa before making the leap to the MLS in January.
