F.Marinos continue partnership with Suphanburi

Coaching staff from Yokohama F. Marinos flew to Thailand last week to work with players from club partner Suphanburi FC’s youth academy.

The event was co-sponsored by the J.League and the Japan Foundation, who have partnered with the Japan Football Association to help raise the level of play and coaching in Southeast Asia.

These activities fall under the umbrella of the Japanese government-backed Sport For Tomorrow initiative, which seeks to promote sports to over 10 million people in 100 different countries ahead of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

The partnership between F. Marinos and Suphanburi, who finished third in the 2015 Thai Premier League, is now in its third year.
