Fixtures rescheduled due to Kumamoto Earthquake played

Two MEIJI YASUDA J2 League matches postponed by April’s Kumamoto Earthquake were held on Wednesday, with all 22 clubs once again level in terms of games played.

Yokohama FC beat Roasso Kumamoto 1-0 when Kensuke Sato scored in the 85th minute.

The Mitsuzawa Stadium residents have won five of their last six matches and are now in eighth place, eight points beyond Kyoto Sanga who currently occupy the sixth and final playoff spot.

At transcosmos Stadium Nagasaki, V-Varen Nagasaki and Mito Hollyhock fought out a 1-1 draw, with Yu Kimura giving the hosts the lead after just seven minutes.

But Shu Hiramatsu equalised shortly before half-time to preserve a point for 14th-placed Hollyhock.
