FC Tokyo on Sunday announced the dismissal of manager Hiroshi Jofuku for poor results along with the resignation of physical coach Seigo Ikeda.
Jofuku, in his second stint at the club, has only managed to lead last year’s fourth-place side to 13th place overall in the 2016 MEIJI YASUDA J1 League with a record of seven wins and 10 defeats.
The final straw proved to be his start in the Second Stage with four losses and just one victory.
The 55-year-old’s replacement will be announced at a later date.
