Midfielder Jun Amano signed a Pro A contract with Yokohama F. Marinos after meeting the minimum league requirement for playing time earlier this month.
The 23-year-old crossed the 450 minute mark during the Yamazaki Nabisco Cup group stage match against Montedio Yamagata on 3rd June.
“I grateful to everyone who has been involved in my career as a player, and hope to continue to improve in order to contribute to F.Marinos,” Amano said in a statement.
In addition to four Nabisco Cup starts, Amano made his MEIJI YASUDA J1 debut on 7th June as a late substitute in his club’s 1-1 draw at Ventforet Kofu.
That result left high-flying F.Marinos fifth in the table going into the international break.
