Consadole retake first place after comeback

Consadole Sapporo are back on top of the 2016 MEIJI YASUDA J2 League following a 2-1 come-from-behind win over V-Varen Nagasaki on Monday night at the Sapporo Dome.

The visitors took the lead in the 19th minute thanks to Ryo Nagai, who scored in his third straight match.

But Ken Tokura equalised just seven minutes later and Brazilian striker Reis put the hosts back into the lead for good in the 33rd minute after a successful counter.

The result gives Consadole 36 points, two more than previous leaders Fagiano Okayama despite a game in hand.
