Cerezo Osaka striker Keiji Tamada will not renew his contract with the club, it was announced on Monday.
The former Japan international joined from Nagoya Grampus in 2015, scoring three goals in 24 appearances this season.
“Thank you for the last two years,” Tamada commented.
“It’s disappointing that we won’t be able to play together in the J1, but I’ll continue to support Cerezo Osaka.”
