Cerezo Osaka are in terrific form, having gone unbeaten in their last three to climb the table. Now they will try to maintain that record when they host Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo on Sunday at 2 pm JST in a match that will be streamed live on the J.League International YouTube channel.
The Sakura entered the season with big expectations after making big splashes in the winter, but managed only one point from their first three matches. They have since found their footing, though, as new additions have made an impact. Léo Ceará has scored a pair of goals, Jordy Croux is making a bigger impact and their run of seven points from three matches began when Shinji Kagawa made his season debut.
Consa, meanwhile, are unbeaten away from Sapporo, but are still in search of that first road win after taking a draw from each of their three trips south. They’ve managed a pair of 2-2 draws to go along with a scoreless affair and now will be hoping to get over the jump with a victory outside of their cozy confines.
The J.League announced that up to four matches will be streamed live each week for the 2023 season, bringing one of Asia’s top league’s to fans around the world. The streams will be free to view on the J.League International YouTube channel in any country that does not have an existing rights agreement.
