Cerezo Osaka confirmed that Yuzo Tashiro joined the club on Tuesday.
The striker has recorded a total of 48 goals in 175 top flight appearances over a career spent playing for the likes of Sagan Tosu, Kashima Antlers and Vissel Kobe.
“I am very glad for this chance to play for Cerezo Osaka,” Tashiro said. “I will play at my best to help the team to achieve promotion.”
The 32-year-old joins a potent strikeforce that already features Uruguay legend Diego Forlan and former Real Madrid youngster Pablo.
Cerezo Osaka were relegated last term, and are currently ninth in the MEIJI YASUDA J2 League having racked up a league-high five goals in three games.
