Kashima Antlers on Monday announced the full transfer of midfielder Ryota Nagaki from Shonan Bellmare.
The 27-year-old had played for the Kanazawa club since 2010, helping them to promotion in the 2014 when they finished top of the second tier.
Nagaki then helped Bellmare secure comfortable survivial in the 2015 MEIJI YASUDA J1 League season, with his three goals in 32 appearances catching the eye of Antlers and earning him his move.
“I’m excited to play at a club with as much tradition as Kashima Antlers,” Nagaki commented. “I look forward to applying all of my training toward helping the club win titles.”
Masatada Ishii’s men are reinforcing in their bid to build on their Yamazaki Nabisco Cup success this season, and will target AFC Champions League qualification next term.
