Shonan Bellmare on Friday announced the signing of promising goalkeeper Go Ito.

Despite only turning professional in 2013, Ito has played for a host of clubs in Montenegro as well as Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Saitama native most recently represented NK Zvijezda Gradacac, making eight appearances in the Bosnian Premijer Liga during the 2014-15 season.

“I joined Bellmare because I feel this is a club I can grow in,” Ito commented. “I will work hard to contribute to the team in whatever small way I can.”

Bellmare sit 11th in the MEIJI YASUDA J1 League table after Sunday’s 2-0 defeat to Ventforet Kofu.
