Matsumoto Yamaga made quick work of Thespa Kusatsu Gunma with a 3-0 home win, ending the day in provisional fourth place with their fourth straight win.

Meanwhile, fifth placed Yokohama FC settled for a 1-1 draw with Tokyo Verdy in seventh.

In Sunday’s lone action, Zweigen Kanazawa made it two for two against Nagoya Grampus this season, with Kiwara Miyazaki scoring from the spot and Masahiro Kaneko and Koichi Sato scoring from open play.

Due to the weekend’s typhoon, Roasso Kumamoto’s home game against Avispa Fukuoka was rescheduled for Monday, September 18.

A replacement date for Ehime FC’s tie against Kyoto Sanga, which was also postponed, will be announced in the near future.
