Avispa Fukuoka are back on their feet and looking for more as Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo come to Best Denki Stadium on Saturday at 7 pm JST in a match that will be streamed live on the J.League International YouTube channel.
Avi had lost four in a row and gone seven matches without a win before last weekend’s visit to Cerezo Osaka, where they walked away with a very impressive away win over a good Sakura team. The defense was excellent in stymying a dangerous Cerezo attack, while Lukian’s terrific header made the difference and earned Fukuoka a crucial three points.
Now, Fukuoka will look to build upon that against a Consa team that is as dangerous as they come. The wide open play of Sapporo and deadly attack make them a threat to any team, but it does leave them vulnerable at the back, where Avi will hope to make them pay.
The J.League announced that up to four matches will be streamed live each week for the 2023 season, bringing one of Asia’s top league’s to fans around the world. The streams will be free to view on the J.League International YouTube channel in any country that does not have an existing rights agreement.
