Omiya Ardija on Thursday announced the provisional signing of striker Marcelo Toscano from K-League side Jeju United on a full transfer.

The 32-year-old Brazilian has scored six goals from 13 league appearances this season, as well as three goals in eight AFC Champions League matches.

“It’s an honour to join Omiya Ardija and I’ll do my best to help the club achieve its goals,” Marcelo said. 

“I look forward to meeting my new teammates and staff and can’t wait to give a good performance in front of our great supporters.”

Marcelo will officially sign for the club following his medical.
