Jubilo Iwata downed AC Nagano Parceiro 1-0 thanks to Kazuki Saito’s header, while Takayuki Morimoto netted a hat-trick for Kawasaki Frontale in their 4-1 win over Shimizu S-Pulse.

In a rematch of the 2013 Emperor’s Cup final, Yokohama F. Marinos edged out Sanfrecce Hiroshima in extra time after Hugo Viera completed his hat trick in the 120th minute of play.
