Albirex Niigata will solicit donations for Nepal following the deadly earthquakes that struck the country, the club have announced.

The club will open fundraising booths next to the information ones at Denka Big Swan Stadium before their matchday 10 clash with Montedio Yamagata on Wednesday.

The donations will then be handed to a charity participating in efforts to reconstruct Nepal following the damage caused by the earthquake on 25th April.

Albirex are among a number of J-League clubs who have raised funds for Nepal, with Vissel Kobe, Vegalta Sendai and Nagoya Grampus holding their own events over the past week.
