25 J.League starlets chosen for U-22 training camp

Takuma Asano, Gakuto Notsuda and Naomichi Ueda head the Japan Football Association’s list of 25 called up for an upcoming Japan Under-22 training camp.

Scheduled to take place between August 23 and 26, the players will train together for four days before the camp comes to a close with a practice match against Kyoto Sanga FC.

It will be an opportunity for coach Makoto Teguramori to study the options available to him as they look to qualify for the 2016 Rio Summer Olympics, via next January’s 2016 AFC U-23 Championship in Qatar.
