Based on votes from the managers and players of the 20 J1 League clubs, J.League has decided on the 36 players to receive the 2025 J.League Best XI Nominees.
At the 2025 J.LEAGUE AWARDS, which will be held on Thursday, December 11, the winners of the Player of the Year award and Best XI will be chosen from among these Best XI Nominees. The event will be broadcast starting at approximately 16:10 on the same day via DAZN, as well as on the official J.League YouTube channel and TikTok account.

One player is selected by the selection committee from the Best Eleven.
Eligibility: Players who have appeared in 19 or more matches in the 2025 MEIJI YASUDA J1 LEAGUE - Best XI Nominees
The chairman decides based on the Best XI voting results from managers and players.
Eligibility: Players who have appeared in 19 or more matches in the 2025 MEIJI YASUDA J1 LEAGUE - Best XI
From the top vote-getters in manager and player voting, one defender (DF), one midfielder (MF), one forward (FW), one right-side player, and one left-side player are selected. The remaining six, including the goalkeeper, are decided by the selection committee. (Among the 11, there is only one goalkeeper, and no more than five foreign players. However, players holding the nationality of “partner countries” designated separately by J.League are not considered foreign players.)
