The J.LEAGUE and FUJIFILM Business Innovation Corporation are pleased to announce an extension of their Super Cup Partner Agreement.

Beginning in 2022, the competition will be named the FUJIFILM SUPER CUP and it will be held in mid-February.

FUJIFILM has been a name partner of the Super Cup since it was first held in 1994 and the 2022 edition will mark their 29th consecutive year presenting the illustrious competition.

The FUJIFILM SUPER CUP pits the winners of the previous season’s MEIJI YASUDA J1 LEAGUE and Emperor’s Cup.

The massive event is a celebration of the sport and serves as the kickoff to the new season for the entirety of Japanese professional football.
