The J.League on Tuesday announced the renaming of the league’s cup tournament from the 2016 J.League Yamazaki Nabisco Cup to the 2016 J.League YBC Levain Cup.
The new name represents tournament sponsor Yamazaki Biscuit Company (YBC) as well as Levain, their new product line which is scheduled to launch in September.
The draw for the 2016 Levain Cup’s knockout stage will take place on July 3, with participants facing off in the first leg of the quarterfinals on August 31.
